Yes, it is a side-effect of the profiler, you can safely exclude this method from your analysis. We will fix this behavior in 2019.1 version of dotTrace.

Hello, Unfortunately, currently dotTrace can't profile Azure Web Apps hosted on cloud machines without RDP access. You need to have RDP access to a machine in order to perform profiling.
