Hi David, To get more information about the restriction please see links to TechNet pages here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/DTRC-24433 It's a system restrictions, not dotTrace ones.

Hi, Yes, async/awaits support for Timeline profiling mode will be released in 2017.2 version, but so far it is not available in EAP builds.

Hi David, Yes, .dtt files are version specific, but there is a backward compatibility: you can always open old snapshot in the newer version of dotTrace (snapshot will be reprocessed automatically).
