Remote Profiling throwing 403 forbidden error

Hi Team,

 

I am trying to remote profile my dev application but throwing 403 forbidden error ..Can anyone please suggest if I am missing to include anything

Hi,

Did you switch the Remote Agent to using HTTP protocol instead of the default one (net.tcp)?

Thanks for responding. Could you please tell me how can I switch default one(net.tcp) to HTTP protocol ?

You don't need to switch protocol, it's better to use the default one. Could you please attach a screenshot of Remote Agent output (console) and a screenshot of "Profile Remote App " section of dotTrace Home with "Remote Agent URL" field filled?

And few more questions: do you start Remote Agent under administrative account? Do you use a firewall or some proxy server that could block requests?
