Failed to start dot trace profiling on IIS Express - hosted web application

Hi Team,

I'm trying to load dot trace profiling on local IIS Host web application. But it is failing.Please refer below screenshot

 

Note : But the path I have given is correct

Using Jetbrains dotTrace 2017.3.2

.NET Framework : 4.6.1 

Please suggest if I am missing something.

Hi!

Am I right that you are using IIS Express, not IIS? If so, there could be port conflicts. Could you please stop all IIS Express hosted sites from IIS Express tray application, then start profiling from dotTrace and open your site from IIS Express tray application?

Hi Katsnelson,

Yes I am using IIS Express. I have tried stopping all IIS Express hosted sites from IIS Express tray even though it did'nt help me.

Have you selected your site from the list under "Configuration file" option or enter an application path? Could you please check "Advanced" checkbox, then select a configuration file from "<solution folder>\.vs\config" folder, then start profiling and check if the issue persists?
