Working with large (4GB) timeline snapshot
I need to analyze large timeline snapshot for a long app run. The size of file is about 4GB. It is almost impossible to work with it in Timeline Viewer cause it is extremely slow. Is there any way to cut this snapshot file on slices based on time periods?

Unfortunately no, currently it is not possible. You can vote for the corresponding issue in our tracker: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/DTRC-25277
We are working on speeding Timeline Viewer up, but it is not easy due to a big amount of events in snapshots.
