Setup Fails without Visual Studio Professional
I tried to install the dotCover EAP (1.0.37.11) on a system with only the Visual Studio Express Editions on it. The dotCover installer tells me this:

It would be great if dotCover could be installed without Visual Studio integration. I'm sure a console executable is planned for integration in TeamCity?

dotCover can't be installed into Visual Studio Express as Microsoft allows to extend only commercial VS editions.
Thank you for pointing on the broken dialog, it would be fixed in the next nightly builds.
Regarding dotCover usage without VS integration: simple console runner will be included into 1.0 release, full featured support for the continuous integration systems is scheduled for version 2.0.
