The CrossAppDomainPointer is NULL.

I am trying to install the latest version of doCover ona Windows R2 Standard 2012 Server but am getting the below error. I have tried all recomendations in the below article. I am able to install it on my own desktop but not on this server. I have also installed 6 other products including VS 2013 as admin but for some reason this is failing. Hope someone has some input as to why this is not installing.

The CrossAppDomainPointer is NULL.
