How can I cover a remote web application?

1: My web application was published in 192.168.0.1, and my dotcover was in 192.168.0.2.

The pdb file was copied to 192.168.0.2, and I configer it in "edit symbol search policy", but I got error "pdb server wasn't started".

can I cover a remote web application?

2: and the 2nd question is : can dotcover run without visual studio?
