dotPeek VS Solutions Fail to Build

I have been decompiling  older software where the source has been lost. Unfortunately, even before editing, VS 2010 cannot build the solutions with errors that usually have to do with missing references even though they are listed. It appears that it gets lost on the folder structures itself created. Any work arounds on this?
