Lock contention filter

Hello,

While trying to do some performance investigation using dotTrace, I've been very surprised not to find the "lock contention" filter in the 2016.3 version. The feature is still mentioned in the help for the previous version (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/profiler/10.0/Lock_Contention.html) but I cannot find it anymore. Has the feature moved elsewhere, or was it removed? If the latter, is there any plan in bringing it back?

Hi Kevin,

 

We put "Lock contention" filter into the "Subsystems" filter as we think that it is more logical place for this filter.

Ugh, my bad, I didn't notice there was a scrollbar in the subsystems panel...

Indeed, this scrollbar is very hard to find. We will fix it in the next version.
